Matthew Mullins

Mr. Bullet Leather 2014

Matthew Mullins is a student, writer, and artist living in Hollywood. Since he began his two year degree at LA City College, he has been the editor of the Los Angeles Collegian, a blogger for LA Weekly, Wehoville, KTLA, and writes on his own blog, MatthewBeatsPerMinute. He is a board member for the L.A. Chapter of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, and takes pictures professionally for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center, Spit! at Fault-line, and does event photos for many other gay leather community organizations.

 

He does volunteer and charity work for; Tom of Finland Foundation, APLA, LAGLC, and Operation Gratitude. He writes experimental electronic music, under the name Biological, and has a classically trained singing voice. He has performed in theater productions all over Southern California, and was trained at Huntington Beach’s Academy for the Performing Arts.  In high school he met Larry Townsend, writer of the Leatherman’s Handbook. Larry taught Matthew the ‘ropes,’ and helped introduce him to leather lifestyle and photography. Matthew began to be curious about leather and the bdsm culture at the young age of 14. Sexually, he is generally a submissive boy, into master/slave scenes and lifestyle. Also into pup play, underwear, humiliation, BDSM, boots, and following protocol.
